Sydney, Dec 9, 2015 (Global Fashion Wire) - Monday night the standards were set for an exciting period in Australian Fashion as FBI Fashion Business and Fashion Design students took the first steps towards their promising careers.

FBI Designers showcased their collections on the runway at The Ivy Ballroom, supported by Fashion industry guests Sydney Fashion Blogger, Pip Edwards, the Vogue and Marie Claire Fashion teams and representatives from Swarovski, Giorgio Armani, Topshop, Zara, The Iconic and GQ.

The theme for the evening was 'Desire' and the collections revealed a diverse array of interpretations across Bridal, Menswear, Sleepwear, Activewear and Childrenswear.

Host of the evening and Vogue Editor-In-Chief Edwina McCann commended the students and offered her congratulations from Vogue.

Three student designers were approached by Edwina and Pip Edwards for future collaborations.

FBI Graduate Emma Nott was awarded the $10,000 FBI Fashion Business Initiative to help launch her label Ametrine.
