Sydney, Mar 30, 2011 (Global Fashion Wire) - Chloe De Freitas is a designer/artist/writer with an eye for the unusual, born perhaps 200 years too late. Her design signature was learned from studying the rules of the School of Aesthetics favoured by the dandies and touched on in the minds of eccentrics such as Casanova and Beau Brummel. She adheres to the intrigue and mystery that the Victorians lived by and the decadence of the eighteenth century -- masculinity at it's best decked out in embroidered coats, stockings and buckled shoes!

Chloe's current menswear collection Orlando Autumn/Winter 2011 (inspiration coming from Virginia Woolf's book sharing this title) aims to push the boundaries of menswear with an iridescent colour palette and unusual designs that involve multi-layered feather printed silks applied to modern-day frock coats, trench coats, and pantaloons in a collection that shows no fear in expressing what it is that lurks in the darkness and hidden depths in the corners and cracks of the human psyche, even prepared to delve into the forbidden world of taxidermy.
