New York, May 22, 2012 (Global Fashion Wire) - Emerging designer Philomena Kwok, known for her futuristic headwear partnered with seasoned designer Carl Kapp for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia. Complimenting his sophisticated, bold and colorful collection, her line consists of inorganic pieces in dynamic twisted shapes using crushed plastic textures and glossy acrylics that reference some sort of catastrophic crash, albeit harmonious indeed. Showcasing her innovative aesthetic, her "finale" pieces were designed with LED elements and opaque tinted acrylics that helped to illuminate the runway.
